Sturdy, lightweight construction and very useful features. Many compartments for a variety of things handy to have on s trail excursion. The khaki material is both rugged and beautiful.

Great pack

The good: pack is durable, has a ton of pockets, decent size that you can pack a lot into, molle expandability. The pack does contain a padded laptop pocket, the straps are sturdy with a chest strap, and d-rings.
The bad: shipping took 2 weeks! Then it was missing the BN patch which they quickly shipped to me. There's no branding or documents with the pack which is really odd.
Ways to improve: No pockets have places for pens, pencils, or even a key ring. Every pack should contain that now whether you use it on the trail or for the office. I haven't found if I can put a water bladder in and I did not find a water tube hole. Plus, there's no water bottle pocket which could easily be a molle-attached pocket.
Overall I'm very pleased, but it could be better.

Trail Pack on A Travel Trip

The first time I used the Trail Pack was actually on the leisure trip to Cabo. I had no intention to use the Pack on the Trail for this trip, but as just a carry-on bag. Overall, it was good. It did take some time to get use to the bag but I thought it was an asset. The most difficult thing about the bag is 1) the front flap has a small storage pocket where the "Bronco Nation" velcro label attaches. If the zipper to this pocket is open and the flap is flipped over to the back to get access to the larger inner storage spaces, then the contents of the small pocket can be unintentionally dumped out. 2) The front flap has to be flipped over to the back to get access to the larger inner storage spaces. 3) there are not dedicated slips for a water bottles/drinking containers. and 4) (minor) I did not find an obvious pin/pencil holder.

Backpack

It's a nice backpack, however it has too many pockets in the front, which makes it front heavy and tips over. Definitely not worth the price. The bronco nation logo is only velcro. So without it, it's a plain over pocketed backpack.
